You must either import your license information from disk or enter the information from your License Pack manually. Using the online information makes the installation process easier and quicker. If you are updating from an earlier release, see the Obtaining Codes Online section below. You can also refer to your License Pack for instructions on how to obtain your license codes online.

If you have an online copy of your license codes, enter the path to the file. You can also click the Folder icon, navigate the folder hierarchy, and select the license file. If PTC sent you your license information via e-mail, save the e-mail to disk and specify the full path in the License file path text box.
If you do not have an online copy of your license information, you must either Manually enter license information using the License Wizard GUI or Manually enter license information using a text editor.
The License Wizard prompts you for the required information. The FLEXlm Editor window requires that you type in your license information.
If you received this shipment as a software maintenance release, you can obtain an online copy of your maintenance release license codes through the PTC Web Site or through e-mail.
Note: You are requesting an online copy of license codes that were included in your maintenance shipment only.

Note: You will need to input your Install Site Number and Maintenance Shipment Number (MSN) from your License Pack (see example below).
Send an e-mail to PTC License Management at lmcodes@ptc.com with the following information as the subject of the mail:
release (Site Number) (Maintenance Shipment Number)
example:
release 1212 99336663
where:
1212 is your Site Number
99336663 is your MSN.
Your Site Number and Maintenance Shipment Number (MSN) are listed in your License Pack that was included in your maintenance shipment.
Your license codes will be sent back to you via e-mail.
